Return Policy

At Boo Time, we want you to enjoy your new e-bike or scooter with confidence. To keep everything fair and transparent, please review our return and refund policy below.

1. Order Cancellation

Before Shipment (No Tracking Number Yet):

  • Free cancellation.
  • service@bootime.com, and our team will respond within 24 hours.

After Shipment (Tracking Number Created):

  • Once your tracking number has been issued, the order is considered shipped and cannot be cancelled for free.
  • 10% restocking fee will apply.

📌 Note: If FedEx has already been scheduled to pick up the package (even if it’s still with us), the shipping process has started.

2. Order Modification

  • Before Shipment: Free of charge.
  • Shipped but Not Yet Delivered: Modifications are not guaranteed, but you can contact service@bootime.com
    for assistance.
  • After Delivery: No modifications can be made. Please refer to the return policy below.

3. Returns & Replacements

Returns for Personal Reasons (Non-Defective):

  • We do not accept returns for e-bikes or scooters that have been ridden over 100 miles or used for more than 30 days, unless there is a verified quality issue.
  • Unopened Products: Return within 30 days with a $150 shipping fee + 10% restocking fee.
  • Opened but Unused (Less than 10 miles, like-new condition): Return within 30 days with a $150 shipping fee + 20% restocking fee.
  • Used/Damaged Products: Heavily used, scratched, or damaged products are not eligible for return. Extra deductions may apply after inspection.

Returns for Quality or Shipping Damage:

If your product has a defect or was damaged during delivery, we will:

  • Provide free technical support and replacement parts.
  • Offer a free replacement if the damage is critical (e.g., bent frame, motor failure).
  • Require photos/videos to verify the claim.

⚠️ Critical damage = Issues that affect normal riding functionality.

Not Covered by Free Return/Replacement:

  • Minor paint scratches or cosmetic issues.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage after 100 miles or 30 days of use.
  • Damage from misuse, modifications, or accidents.

4. Return Procedure

To request a return, email service@bootime.com within 30 days of delivery and provide:

  • Photos of both sides of the product.
  • Mileage reading on the display (if available).
  • Condition of the shipping box.
  • Serial number (on bike and box).

Returns must include original packaging and all parts: charger, battery, keys, tools, etc

5. Customer-Arranged Shipping (If Applicable)

If you choose to arrange your own return shipping:

  • You must use a signature-required service with insurance.
  • Boo Time is not responsible for damage, loss, or delays during transit.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Bikes or scooters used over 100 miles or 30 days.
  • Parts and accessories.
  • Custom or special orders.

7. Refund Timeline

Refunds are processed after inspection of the returned product.

  • Deductions for shipping and restocking will apply.
  • Refunds may take up to 7 business days to appear.
  • If delayed, please check with your bank or credit card provider.
