1. How to File a Claim

  1. Visit: Boo Time Shipping Claims Center (link to be provided by Boo Time).
  2. Enter your email and Shipping Protection ID.
  3. Upload the required documents based on your claim type.

Required Documents May Include:

  • Tracking number or logistics screenshot.
  • Photos of all sides of the package.
  • Damage evidence (photos/videos).
  • Police report or video evidence (for theft).
  • Proof of shipping weight (for partial loss).
  • Order screenshot showing correct delivery address (for misdelivery claims).

2. What’s Covered?

Once you purchase Shipping Protection at checkout, the following scenarios are covered:

✅ Covered Situations

  • Lost Packages:
    • Logistics shows no delivery.
    • Not delivered within 30 days (domestic) or 60 days (international).
    • Marked “Delivered” but not received (porch theft) — proof/police report required.
  • Damaged Packages:
    • Item arrives broken, bent (when not bendable), cracked, crushed, or unusable.
  • Partially Lost Shipments:
    • Missing items from multi-package orders, or weight discrepancies.
  • Delivered to Wrong Address:
    • If caused by the carrier (not customer error).
  • Strikes or Riots:
    • Additional costs due to courier service disruptions.

Not Covered

  • Wrong or incomplete address provided by customer.
  • Orders stuck at “pre-shipment” (label created but not shipped).
  • Customs seizure or confiscation.
  • Refused/returned packages (unless due to damage).
  • Wrong product/model/color sent.
  • Pre-existing damage before shipping (e.g., rust, oxidation).

3. How to Purchase

  • You can select Shipping Protection during checkout.
  • The small insurance fee will be added to your order total.
  • Protection becomes active once your order is shipped.

4. Claim Processing Time

  • Response within 24 hours.
  • Settlement or replacement within 2 business days (if documents are complete).
  • Ongoing merchant support within 24 hours.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Before Shipment: You may cancel Shipping Protection via customer service.
  • After Shipment: The insurance fee is non-refundable.

6. Compensation Terms

  • Lost / Fully Damaged Items: Refunded or reshipped (based on order value).
  • Partially Lost / Damaged:
    • Replacement parts + shipping covered, or
    • Partial refund (not exceeding order value).
  • Delivery Errors:
    • If traceable → Boo Time covers reshipping costs.
    • If lost → handled as lost item claim.
  • Returns Due to Damage:
    • Restockable: Return shipping + part costs covered.
    • Non-restockable: Return shipping + cost minus salvage value covered.

7. Important Notes

  • Shipping Protection covers product value only (not shipping fees, taxes, or insurance charges).
  • Boo Time may require your bank account details for refunds.
  • If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, Boo Time will process the refund first, then claim reimbursement.
